This year the school has begun implementing the Restative Practices Program.  Teachers have introduced students to the framework.  Students are learning to use ‘Affective statements’ with one another.  The process involves affirming the recipient, stating the behaviour and the way it links to the code of respect, a feeling statement and the preferred behaviour.  This approach can be used outside of school as well.
